The Cabrillo Bridge is a work of art spanning over the narrowest part of the 163 freeway near Balboa Park. Built in 1919, it is the main pedestrian/vehicle bridge on El Prado leading into the entrance to the Park. It also serves as a great reminder of days past and amazing San Diego design. Be sure to walk the bridge into the park to get the full effect. Recently retrofitted and repaired with updated supports to ensure it's longevity.
