Beaches in Encinitas

The beaches of Encinitas boasts of miles of coastline from Leucadia to Cardiff by-the-Sea with plenty of activities and facilities to support our beach use and enjoyment in Encinitas. Our life guards are wonderful and the beaches are constantly groomed with new sand brought in as needed.  Some beaches are known for their gnarly surf, others for great swimming.  The main one in town, Moonlight St. has volleyball courts, fire pits and a new snack bar, dressing rooms and bathrooms.  Many other beaches also have bathrooms and showers, some allow dogs to run off leash in the winter months, and still others are known as great place to search in tide pools for sea life. There are often festivals and concerts at our local beach during the summer months.  You can't go wrong on any beach here in town; they all are beautiful and our best and most treasured resource.  We love our Encinitas beaches!
